On our Way
The day has come. We are on our way to South Africa today then on to Madagascar. We are excited and have realized we have way too much junk. Most of it will stay locked up during training. Training will last 10 weeks in a small town about 3.5 hours from Tana, the capital.
We will hit the ground running. We land in Tana, Madagascar, travel by bus to our training site, get a language crash course and then are dropped off at our host family's house. Next day we start our training. We will not have access to the Internet, running water or electricity. After week four we will visit our individual sites and return to training. That site visit should inspire us and illuminate how little we really know. The goal is to be accepted and integrated into our site community.

I love you two very much and miss you so much already. I can't wait to hear about all of your experiences. You know me, I couldn't imagine only have 80lbs. to my name... no running water and no electricity make no sense to me. HEHE!! But I think it is amazing what you're doing. In the mean time I will continue with school and miss you both (p.s. I have received all A's on my tests so far! WOOOO HOOO for me!)
